We provide data collection as a service, running experiments on our in-house lab hardware and delivering you the data. Our fully-automated end-to-end culturing and screening minimizes contamination, reduces variability, and provides real-time monitoring.
Scale
We can run 1000+ microplates in parallel. All data from the experiments is fed into our servers, providing easy and immediate access (through web interfaces, APIs, and Python libraries).
Culturing
We can culture a wide range of human cell lines. Our system provides control of temperature, humidity, CO2, and oxygen. We monitor cell growth rates and can perform automatic media changes and passaging.
Perturbation
We can perform precisely-timed sub-microliter dispensing and microliter-scale pipetting. Dispensing and pipetting volumes are verified and recorded along with environmental variables.
Measurement
We can carry out a variety of fluorescence-based measurements, including proteomics, metabolomics, and ADME assays. We also offer single-cell RNA sequencing.
Heterogenous Cell Cultures
We can perform experiments that combine multiple cell types. Using custom microplates, we can create specialized multi-cellular configurations (e.g. a cluster of gut cells linked to a cluster of liver cells linked to a cluster of cancer cells).
Pricing
We offer a lower cost-per-cell than any other CRO by using fully-automated custom-built hardware for all culturing, perturbation, and imaging. Our optimized protocols let us offer scRNA-seq for under $0.05 per cell (including barcoding and sequencing).
Technical Details
Our core technology is a compact lab-in-a-box device. Each box provides incubation, plate handling (for up to 100 plates), imaging, and dispensing. Some boxes are configured with pipettors, centrifuges, or PCR hardware.
The boxes are mounted on racks, allowing 20+ boxes to operate in one room. They include built-in hardware for transferring plates between boxes. A set of boxes can be connected to one or more sequencers.
