Cell Culturing Services

We culture cells using automated self-contained devices that minimize contamination and reduce variability.

With our hardware, we can culture challenging cells that require frequent media exchanges, passaging, and monitoring.

Hardware Capabilities

Our lab-in-a-box hardware includes:

• control of temperature, humidity, CO₂, and oxygen
• passaging and media exchange
• dispensing (at volumes down to 1μl)
• imaging/microscopy
• support for up to 100 plates per box

Data Access

All data from our hardware is fed into our servers, providing easy access through web interfaces, APIs, and Python libraries.

Delivery

We can deliver live cells anywhere within the Bay Area using a portable CO₂ incubator.

Future Capabilities

We plan to add more features over time:

• fluorescence imaging
• plate reading
• specialized plate formats (including Transwell, BioStellar, and Autoflask)
• larger batch sizes (up to 1000 plates)
• nanoliter-scale dispensing
• additional screening endpoints (e.g. scRNA-seq)
