Science Co-Founder

Sync Bio is using patient data, massively parallel lab automation, and computational modeling to build cell cultures that better replicate the complex biology of the human body. Our goal is to improve preclinical screening and reduce the failure rate of clinical trials.

We are looking for a co-founder with deep experience in human cell culture and human disease biology. The ideal candidate would be a professor or postdoc with substantial research in at least one disease area. If joining full time, compensation would match the other full-time co-founders (about 30% of the company's founding equity, a $200k salary, and full health benefits). The work will take place in San Francisco.

We're also open to people joining as a part-time co-founder or in an advisory role.
